Modular Multilevel Converter based High-Power Inductive PowerTransfer Charger for Electric Transportation
Duration: 2024 – 2028
This project aims to develop new hardware technologies and control strategies to enable high-power wireless energy transmission systems. Specifically, it targets applications such as charging heavy-duty vehicles. Currently, this technology operates within a limited range of 5-25 kW, which is insufficient for these types of applications. The project focuses on control algorithms for high dynamic real-time implementation and multi-phase coil design.
