General Instructions

Students must be fully aware of the requirements to obtain the double degree at the selected university. To learn about the specific characteristics of each institution, click on the logos in the menu on the right.

All students interested in the program may apply online through Siding (Undergraduate Processes > Double Degree > Application) in order to take part in the pre-selection process carried out by the School of Engineering.

The following documents will be required in the online application form:

  • Academic résumé (in Spanish or English).
  • Motivation letter (2500 characters).
  • Proof of proficiency in a foreign language, or alternatively, evidence of the steps being taken to learn it.

Afterwards, applicants will receive an email during the month of August from the Undergraduate Office with the results, including the steps to follow.

All applicants who have been pre-selected by UC Engineering will be informed by email when they must officially complete their registration on the platform of the Associate Vice Presidency for International Affairs.

Once pre-selected, students must apply to the destination institution. Application dates vary among institutions, so they will be announced during the corresponding period.

Regardless of the institution to which they apply, students must submit:

  • Transcript of Academic Records – official academic transcript issued by DARA (managed by DiPre).
  • Class Rank Certificate – official class ranking certificate (managed by DiPre).
  • Letters of recommendation (it is recommended to have at least 2, but if possible, to obtain a few more).
  • Other relevant academic and extracurricular background information.
Final Results
  • The application results are delivered by the destination institution on dates that vary depending on the institution.
  • In addition, students will receive an email from the Undergraduate Office informing them of the decision.
