This project proposes a new topology for a power electronics converter capable of increasing its rated power and incorporating modular energy storage. As an additional innovative component, this project utilizes second-life batteries—batteries that have been previously used for 7-8 years in electric vehicles—thereby promoting the circular economy in the lithium battery market. The project is supported by Clever Group, experts in the use and installation of second-life batteries and markets, and EMOAC, specialists in electric markets and new business models, which is crucial for the successful integration of this solution into the market.
